German youngster Leroy Sane has ruled himself out of a move away from Schalke this summer, but revealed his dream to play for Barcelona in the future.
The highly-rated forward, that has one cap for Germany, is being heavily linked with a big-money move after impressing at the Veltins-Arena this season, appearing 36 times in all competitions for the Bundesliga side.
Despite the attraction of moving to a more successful club, Sane revealed he's in no rush to change employers, but confirmed his interest in a future move abroad.
"I think next season I will play at Schalke", the 20-year-old told Bild.
"However, I make no secret. Sometime in the future I want to play abroad at an even bigger club than Schalke. Most of all at Barca – even as a little boy that was my dream club."
The attacking midfielder, who is contracted until 2019, has scored six goals for Schalke this season and has plenty of admirers across Europe.
Despite his interest in a future transfer, Sane revealed Borussia Dortmund, who Schalke play in the Ruhr derby on Sunday, is one club he would never join, saying: "No, even if successful football is played, I would never move."
Schalke head into the game off the back of a 3-0 loss, but Sane believes his team will be ready after poor performances in recent weeks.
"The whole team is hot and prepared for the derby, anything can happen," he said.
