Background
The
EU has played a leading role in working towards an agreement for the
International Conference on Financing for Development: ensuring that the
financial and non-financial resources are in place to achieve the
Sustainable Development Goals that will be agreed in New York and should
also support the climate agreement to be adopted in Paris. The press
conference will cover key contributions of the EU in financing global
sustainable development after 2015.
